Titus Theodore

Thank the LORD with us for His gift of life. Titus swam into this world only an hour after active labor began and 30 mins of being at the hospital ... much to the relief of mom (and grandma). Rebecca and Titus are both healthy!

Born December 14, 2015 at 5:28 pm
7 lbs 10 oz. 21" long

Titus was a faithful servant of the Jesus Christ along side of Paul and Silas. Titus means "honored" and Theodore means "gift of God" in honor of his grandpa Mike who shares the middle name. It turns out that both were born with the cord around their neck.

Mothering

I know I need encouragement and motivation to enjoy every moment with my children, both the beautiful and the ugly? I need strength and grace daily to show them Christ in everything I do, its easier during the fun times, but what about in the arguing and bickering, the complaining, the dirt, the mundane, the constant mess and clutter? This, and so much more encouragement I found in the following series "30 Days to Enjoying Your Children More" that I'm sure you will thoroughly enjoy. Its an excellent read!

Another Camping Trip and Apple Picking

Our second and last camping trip for the year way back in the end of September...

Our first time camping with this little man...oh boy what a night that was; punching a raccoon right in the face, through the tent wall and all...good laughs! Not much sleep that night:o)

Off to the apple farm.

We finished the night off with making apple pies and apple crisps together...

A glimpse into some of our school activities

How exciting when Tia discovered these ants moving all of their eggs and larva to another home.

Learning about the sun and moon this year prompted this fun playing in moon dust.

Our study on birds and nests resulted in edible nests.

This was fun and quite challenging...We set out to find grasses and small twigs and sticks, and pine needles, all sorts of stuff we thought would be useful, made some mud and set out to build our own birds nest. Their were a lot of "I can't do this! I need help! Mom!" We certainly came to admire how God made the birds with an amazing ability and determination in making their nest so perfect, strong, and snug.

Learning to live out the fruits of the spirit.

Enjoying octopus hot dogs for lunch.
