Everything is painted now with the first coat. Looking more and more like home!

Dry wall is up!!! Take a look!

After 3+ months of hard work by Phil and Dad and a few other helpers the drywall has finally made its appearance...and it makes all the difference in the world! It actually makes it look livable! But before that happens we have lots of painting to do...we are gathering a painting crew for this Saturday and the next and the next and the next:o)

Birthday Boy!

It was Silas' Birthday this past Monday, October 27th! "Mama", "Peepa or Papa", and "Ada" (as Silas lovingly calls them) this would be Grandma, Grandpa, and Auntie Ada came over for a little birthday dinner and party. For dessert we had zucchini cupcakes with cows on top (this was Grandma Moo's great idea) Silas loved it!

After he licked off the little cows he could enjoy his cupcake!

Silas opened one of his cards, and found money in it...he looked at it for a moment and then said "pocket?" and proceeded to crumple it all up and stuff it in his pocket...three cards later he had a wad of cash stashed deep in his pocket!

Silas was overjoyed with his train set from Mommy and Daddy.
