House update!

The house remodeling is on its way to needing sheet rock...I'm anticipating this within the next few weeks, correct me if I'm wrong please, my expectation should NOT be too high!

I (Rebecca) have been painting the upstairs master bedroom...pictures are forthcoming, Phil has been busy wiring the whole downstairs, and Dad has been doing misc carpentry work such as the new window in the below picture which replaced a smaller one, and the nice big french door in the living room he put in yesterday and so many others!

This is the mudroom area, door brings you outside to patio.

This is the new french door coming into the living room.

This is Phil's engineering skills when the baby needed tending to...zoom in a little you will see Tia is suspended from the rafters with phil being able to rock/swing her with small string he has hooked to carseat...it worked like a charm! You do what you got to do when things have to get done!

Our growing little girl!

She always has a ready smile for you.

This is what Tia thinks of the little monkey swinging over her!

The picture of the month!

This is how we usually find Grandpa after 9:30pm...zonked out in the lazy boy chair!

Trip to see PopPop & Grandma Moo!

Silas, Daddy, and PopPop going mowing!

One of our many trips to see the cows.

There were so many farm toys to play with, big ones, little ones, and real ones...boy it was fun!

Don't worry PopPop when I'm all grown up...I'll come and help you!

Silas watching Aunt Sarah feed bottles to the 14 baby calves that were born recently.

Silas loved to help Aunt Sarah on the lawn mower and the skid steer.

I love you Grandma!

This was one of the projects, making a dock for Grandma's birthday.

Here we all are minus one...Ben couldn't make it.

Harvest Time

We had fun canning peaches, beans and salsa.

Harvesting honey from Dad's beehives...

Johnny looks a little tired of spinning honey.

ummmm that honey is good!

Tirzah's Baptism

On Sunday August 24th, we witnessed with joy the sign and seal of the covenant as Tirzah was baptized.

"Thou art He that took me out of the womb: Thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts. I was cast upon Thee from the womb: Thou art my God from my mother's belly."

Psalm 22:9-10
