To the Farm Again

Over the rivers and through the mountains, to Grandma and Grandpa Moo's we go... the car knows the way to carry our luggage through the wide and busy roads...over the rivers and through the mountains to grandmother's house we go...

Another much anticipated trip to the farm is already come and gone...we miss you guys!

Grandma and Tia practicing for Sunday morning service.

Aunt Hannah, Silas and Tia

We spent very little time outside this time...it is so blustery cold out there, the snow just blows all day and night...you step foot outside and you feel the cold to your very bones. This is the only outside shot I have, Jonathan is working with Ben putting new lights in the barn.

Uncle Caleb is teaching Silas how to knead pizza dough for dinner.

And here are the girls making pizza pies...Tia is well prepared with her new apron.

Josiah made us all a volcano cake for dessert. It was delicious!
Giving gifts to each other is always great fun...ever since I was a kid I remember each of us having a stocking every year...we would always get our favorite food items (those things Mom would never buy otherwise). My favorites used to be cheese doodles and magic shell ice cream topping. Since then I've changed my ways and now I enjoy a variety of loose leaf tea, & honey.
Tia, hooking on the last candy cane.

Special gift for Dad, a screw organizer.
And this is made specially by Grandma Moo, an old "Nurse Nancy" first aid box. Tia has this old book that used to be Grandma Moo's when she was a little. It's all about a girl playing pretend nurse to her dolls and brothers, and she had a box just like this...so cute!
Lots of fun things...or maybe sad things...
A crushed wine bottle cutting board, for Mom & Dad's cheese of course...really unique!
A little Mr. Fix-It for my kitchen...never without a bottle of wine. Thanks Ben!

I spy with my little eye...
A cow to chew on, ya know one of those squeeze-me-stress-relievers...Asher can sure use it when Tia tries her Mothering techniques:o)

Yeah this cute little peanut!

Home-made aprons from Aunt Sarah...Great idea!

Thanks Josiah!

...small jug of pure maple syrup. She tried so hard to get it open...but to no avail.
