Silas' 5th Birthday

Forgive me for this very belated birthday post.
Our energetic, fun loving boy, Silas turned 5 back in October. His birthday party ended up being a complete and beautiful snowy mess, in which the aftermath damage was far greater then hurricane Irene...Uncle Ben was working around the clock for days afterwards to restore power to many people. Thanks to those who ventured out into that snowy weather.

Silas, our oldest, the one who loves to work and plan with Daddy, who manages Grandpa's work in the basement, ("OK Grandpa we need to do this and this and then we can do this and then after that we need to bring this away, OK Grandpa?") Silas' future plans are to build houses, have trucks with big tanks that spray mosquitoes, and a landscaping business with big trailers. All this while making clear that he does not plan on being at work all day like Daddy ... he will be at home some days while his workers finish jobs.

We love you Silas and look forward to see how God will shape your future.  We pray the Lord to form His image in you and that He will use your energy to further His Kingdom.

One of the most exciting gifts, they really are a blast! Even Mommy has fun with them.

His first Lego set...wow I didn't know he could keep himself occupied on one thing for so long!

Sweet Tia watching as I ice the cake.

Some of the party friends.

I think this piñata was the highlight!

Pin the hat on the fire dog...

Somehow they all new where it was supposed to go, we should have spun them.

Happy Birthday!!!

Our last fun was trying to find a cherry amidst a plate of cream. Love these faces.
Here is cousin Eric...adorable.

Good thing we held your hair back Selah...beautiful face!

Zachary was the cleanest of all.

Isaiah and his smiling eyes.
