Summer at the Farm

Uncle Ben and my brothers started their work to replace the old pipe on the silo, with a bunch of ropes and pulleys and a lot of know how...

how would you like to be 60 feet in the air just hanging by a rope?

One section of pipe down

Went to visit Sarah's new place for a tailgate dinner.

Sunday afternoon icecream

No lack of farm equipment to play with here.

Jay man, the boy my sister was taking care of.

The new building Dad, Mom and the boys put up, all equipped with a loft for lodging, porch, wood stove, and a forge.

Playing soccer with a corn cob.

Playing musical chairs with Mom on the accordion.

My turn to milk, it brings a smile to everyone's face...the city sister milking cows!

This was the highlight for the boys...corn chopping, making silage (which is Silas' other name by Uncle Caleb)

Relaxing after a long days work...

The kids filled their shirts with stones to throw in the pond for the dog to catch.
